Yes, you can book online via our booking portal, making it easy to schedule your own appointments.
We understand that life happens. Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice for any changes. Just keep in mind, consistent sessions are key, and results depend on completing your treatment plan within a set timeframe.
Every client begins with a Foundation Program of 6 sessions. Once this phase is complete, we review your results and determine whether additional treatments are needed. Depending on your symptoms and goals, some clients may require none or only a few extra sessions, while others may continue for up to 18 sessions to achieve the best results.
To maintain your progress, we recommend one maintenance session every 6 to 8 weeks.
Your initial treatment plan includes 2 sessions per week, with at least 2 days between each. After completing the plan, maintenance sessions should be scheduled every 4 to 12 weeks to sustain your results.
No preparation is necessary and no special clothing required. You will be seated during treatment so nothing too tight or restrictive that will make you feel uncomfortable.
Yes. This treatment can be safely combined with other pelvic floor therapies for even greater benefit.
Yes. Staying active can enhance your results, and as your pelvic floor becomes stronger, you’ll enjoy the benefits of greater control. No more rushing to the bathroom or unexpected leaks.
Anyone experiencing symptoms arising from pelvic floor muscle weakness will benefit from NUMI’s pelvic floor therapy. It is suitable for both men and women of all ages and is especially effective for:
Urinary incontinence – supports stress, urge, or mixed incontinence by strengthening the pelvic floor
Postpartum recovery – helps restore bladder control and pelvic strength after childbirth (from 3 months onward)
Post-prostate surgery – assists men in regaining function and improving bladder control
Sexual function – improved tone enhances sensation, arousal, and performance
Mild pelvic organ prolapse – relieves symptoms and supports Stage 1 and 2 prolapse
Core stability – strengthens deep pelvic muscles, improving posture and overall core strength
This non invasive therapy restores confidence, control, and quality of life.
While NUMI’s pelvic floor therapy is highly effective, it may not be suitable for individuals with the following conditions:
Severe pelvic organ prolapse (Stage 3 & 4) – significant descent of pelvic organs may require surgical intervention rather than muscle strengthening.
Bladder leakage not caused by muscle weakness – incontinence due to neurological issues, anatomical defects, or structural problems may need medical treatment.
Pregnancy – not suitable during pregnancy, but highly beneficial for postpartum recovery.
Implanted electronic devices – individuals with pacemakers, defibrillators, neurostimulators, or other implanted electronic devices should avoid HIFEM therapy due to electromagnetic stimulation.
Metal implants in the pelvic area – including IUDs, surgical mesh, metal plates, screws, or hip replacements near the treatment zone.
Certain medical conditions – such as severe heart conditions, uncontrolled high blood pressure, active cancer (especially pelvic cancers), epilepsy, or recent surgery.
Active pelvic infection or inflammation – treatment should be postponed until the condition is resolved.
Unexplained pelvic pain or bleeding – should be medically investigated before beginning therapy.
Recent pelvic surgery – a recovery period is required before treatment can begin.
Severe osteoporosis – may increase the risk of discomfort or injury during treatment.
If you’re unsure whether NUMI is right for you, we recommend a consultation to assess your individual needs safely and thoroughly.
NUMI’s pelvic floor therapy using High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM) technology is recommended for adults aged 18 and older. By this age, musculoskeletal development is typically complete, supporting the safety and effectiveness of the treatment.
HIFEM therapy is not recommended for individuals under 18, as its use in this age group has not been thoroughly studied. If a younger individual is experiencing pelvic floor issues, a consultation with a healthcare professional is advised to explore suitable alternatives.
Absolutely. It’s highly effective for improving bladder control, strengthening pelvic muscles, enhancing sexual function, and supporting recovery after prostate surgery.
Many clients notice improvements within the first 2 to 3 sessions, although this varies from person to person. Some experience changes sooner, while others progress more gradually. The best outcomes are achieved by completing your full treatment plan, which may include 6, 9, or more sessions depending on the severity of symptoms.
The results of High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM) therapy are long-lasting, but not permanent. While many clients experience significant improvements that can last up to a year, muscle strength may gradually decline without continued support. To maintain your results, we recommend periodic maintenance sessions. This helps keep your pelvic floor muscles strong and functional, ensuring lasting benefits in your daily life and overall well-being.

Enhanced sexual function, sensation, and confidence
While this therapy is primarily used to treat incontinence, many clients also experience additional benefits such as stronger core support and relief from back pain. Whether your goal is to restore function, improve quality of life, or simply feel more in control, NUMI can help.

After Your Treatment Plan
Once you have completed your program, we will assess your results and recommend ongoing maintenance - typically one session every 6 to 12 weeks to preserve and build on your progress.
Clinical studies show:
Up to 95% of postpartum women report reduced or resolved urinary incontinence after 6 sessions
Over 80% of clients maintain symptom improvement for at least 6 months with regular maintenance
Men treated after prostate surgery report significant improvements in continence and pelvic strength
Ongoing maintenance ensures your results are long lasting and clinically supported.
NUMI’s pelvic floor therapy uses High Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM) technology to stimulate the deep pelvic muscles. While you sit fully clothed on the chair, targeted electromagnetic pulses trigger thousands of strong muscle contractions - far more than can be achieved through voluntary exercise.
These contractions strengthen and re-educate the pelvic floor, restoring muscle tone, bladder control, core stability, and sexual function. Each non invasive session lasts 30 minutes, is painless, and requires no downtime.
Yes, it is safe so long as you do not have any of the listed contraindications. NUMI’s pelvic floor therapy is FDA cleared, CE certified, and supported by clinical research. It is non invasive, delivered while you remain fully clothed and seated, and requires no downtime.
No, the treatment is not painful. Most clients describe the sensation as strong, rhythmic muscle contractions or a firm tapping feeling in the pelvic area. It may feel unusual at first, but it is not typically uncomfortable, and most people adjust within minutes.
The machine cycles through different phases during the 30-minute session, targeting different muscle groups and intensities to optimise results. You remain fully clothed and seated, with no downtime afterwards.
Although the contractions can feel very strong and may cause some temporary discomfort, we always begin at a lower intensity and gradually increase the setting so that it remains tolerable while still effective.
Only 30 minutes - convenient and easy to fit into your day.
No need to undress, you remain fully clothed during treatment.
The treatment feels like deep muscle contractions, gradually increasing in intensity. We always start at a lower setting, so you may not feel strong contractions right away. The intensity is adjusted gradually to keep the experience comfortable and effective.
Most clients find it easy to relax - you can read, scroll your phone, or simply unwind while the machine does all the work.
Pelvic muscles require regular, consistent activation to rebuild strength and function effectively. Spacing sessions too far apart reduces the impact and can slow progress.
Our treatment plans, ranging from 6 to 12 sessions are structured for optimal results, with two sessions per week. This approach builds muscle memory, prevents regression, and accelerates improvements.
Clinical studies show that completing a structured plan within the recommended timeframe leads to better outcomes in bladder control, core stability, and overall pelvic function. Consistency truly is the key to lasting results.
